ADMISSION POLICY Admission to the college will be made purely on merit basis after aptitude test and interview. The college prospectus will be available just after the declaration of SSC result by BISES, NWFP.
Students of both sexes are required to submit application for admission available in the college prospectus.A: Application is to be submitted on prescribed form, annexed in the prospectus, available from the college office on payment. B: Three passport size photographs and school leaving certificate, duly countersigned by the concerned EDO of the last school. C: Students seeking admission to class XI must attach following documents with the application. 1. SSC provisional Certificate ( Attested Copy ) 2. Detail Marks Certificate ( Attested Copy ) 3. Certificate of good character ( copy ) 4. Migration certificate ( In original ), if passed from any other board 5. Domicile Certificate D: The admission form, complete in all respects, should be submitted to the principal before declared last date. E: MPS College is basically a boys academic institution. However, a limited number of girls are also admitted only as day scholars. F: It is very important taht parents / guardians who intend to get their kids / wards admitted should realize that: (i) The admission is purely on competative basis. (ii) The number of students who can be admitted depends on the number of seats available. (iii) No candidate will be admitted unless the principal is satisfied that he / she is likely to be benefitted from his / her stay at this institution and will be cast an unhealthy influence on the general displine. (iv) The candidate must be of good conduct and behaviour. (v) On the clear understanding that the first term is probationary that he / she will have to leave the institution at any time if the principal is of the opinion that his / her conduct and interest in learning is unsatisfictory. (vi) parents / guardian have to submit an affidavit on court paper ( available from MPS Office ) regarding the student's sound conduct in the MPS. G: Students wishing to join the school classes will be required to qualify a written test in English, Urdu and mathematics. While for admission to XI students will have to take a test in English, mathematics and Science Subjects Candidates will be interviewed by an admission committee who shall evaluate their aptitude and conduct. Admission will be given on the basis of merit, determined by the candidate, academic record and his / her record and his / her performance in test and interview. H: The main creterian in the admission test and interview such candidates who can keep pace with the rapid educational advancements and are quite responsive to that efforts put by MPS, aiming to provide these students with sound educational foundation in Primary and Middle classes and also to prepare them for qualifying the SSC( matriculation ) and intermediate( pre medical and pre engineering ) examination with scintillating performance and flying colours. I: Those who pass the matric examination from the MPS college can continue their education for another two years in F.Sc classes of the college. |
